What customers say?

“ This was my third time at Café Museo Larco, and it’s always a pleasure to come back. We visited on a sunny Sunday with beautiful weather, which really enhances the experience. The garden is spacious and lovely, making it a perfect place to relax and enjoy the surroundings. We ordered several dishes, including a traditional Peruvian platter with tamales, causa rellena, anticucho, tequeños, and papa a la huancaína. It was delicious and highly recommended for anyone who wants to try classic Peruvian flavors all in one dish. We also had grilled salmon with rice and vegetables, which was excellent. As a nice surprise, they even treated us to a dessert for a birthday celebration. A wonderful experience overall, and definitely a place I’ll keep coming back to. ”

“ I have a theory that the more beautiful the surroundings in a restaurant, the more mediocre the food will be. This proved to be especially true at the Larco Museo Restaurant, because not only is it magnificently beautiful, it is also huge... which all too often is another indicator of mediocrity. It sprawls across two levels on one side of lush gardens, every spot filled with flowers, greenery, light... and people. Even on a Monday afternoon the place was packed by 2 in the afternoon. Service suffered as a result. After a long wait our appitizers arrived at the same time as our mains, all of it cool, presumably from the long journey to our table. The catch of the day was fresh and may have been fine if served promptly. The lomo saltado was the worst we've had with only a couple of overcooked pieces of vegetable. They did have a decently priced wine list. And at the end we enjoyed the fresh strawberries in red wine sauce. Nonetheless, it's worth the time spent in this beautiful spot. Prices are fair, but keep your expectations low. ”

“ Very good restaurant. We went there as a group of 30 people, service was on time and orderly. Food was delicious, but forgot to take their photos. We took our lunch downstairs and had our coffees upstairs. ”
